Thanks for the reply tweet on the GHG announcement. I’m a graduate student at the University of Michigan in public policy and in the environmental school (also served on city council in Toledo, Ohio – good luck with your race!)

As fate would have it, I’m off to Toronto tomorrow morning for an exchange with policy students at UT seeking information on Toronto’s climate and adaptation progress. If there is anyone you’d suggest I contact I’d be quite appreciative.

Good luck in Rio, I had seen this event a few months ago but couldn’t break free from school. Last summer I was at the UNFCCC negotiations in Bonn and really got into trying to understand the role of cities in climate governance.

Working on a project to develop best practices on adaptation to climate change by cities…wondering if there is any talk of that in Rio this week.
